DJ Jaffa is one of The Gambia’s most respected and dynamic DJs, with a career spanning over a decade in the entertainment industry. His journey began in 2009, when he started out as a solo DJ, developing his craft and steadily gaining recognition for his unique sound and crowd-pleasing skills.

In 2011, Jaffa joined the renowned One Tribe Sound , under the leadership of one Gambia’s most renowned Dj: DJ Pisces, where he worked as both a DJ and sound man. His commitment and raw talent quickly set him apart, and by 2014 he was promoted to Senior DJ,working hand to hand with Dj Lashes of One Force World, a role in which he made a nationwide impact with powerful performances that left lasting impressions on audiences across the country.

By 2017, driven by his passion for music and vision to create something of his own, DJ Jaffa founded Elders Sound International, a sound system that has since become a cornerstone in the Gambian music and entertainment landscape. Under this banner, he has continued to showcase his versatility, professionalism, and dedication to elevating the DJ culture in The Gambia.

Throughout his career, DJ Jaffa has built an impressive portfolio of performances both nationally and internationally, including appearances in Senegal and Casamance. He has also been a central figure in hosting and supporting some of the country’s biggest music events, such as the Open Mic Festival, while sharing stages with internationally acclaimed Jamaican artists such as Demarco, Chronixx, and Sizzla Kalonji.
